PRODUCTS I RECOMMEND & WHY:
Review: I definitely like this product a lot. It comes in pretty much all shades. The best thing about it is that it has a creamy feel and is easy to apply, yet it leaves a matte finish! I used this recently as an alternative to Maybelline’s FIT ME concealer and here’s the difference: this one leaves a much brighter finish under the eyes (or wherever applied) and I found that it does not produce as much acne as the Fit Me concealer, so it’s safe to say it does not clog the pores as much at all. Lastly, it’s way more durable because it’s pretty much a creamy stick so the durability is similar to a lip balm, whereas the fit me concealer runs out faster since it’s liquid. Try it out!
Review: First, I wanna say that Chanel has many products that look alike, especially for make-up removers - so be sure you see that the bottle says ‘eye-make up remover’! This is the best eye make up remover I have ever tried. Although it is pretty expensive, this is the catch: IT DOES NOT STING YOUR EYES AT ALL! NOTHING! NADA! I’m so serious. 100% guarantee that statement and that is what makes it so special. One down side, though, is it runs out VERY quickly, because the liquid is extremely watery. But what a better eye make-up remover than one that doesn’t hurt your eyes at all, right? Try it out!
Review: I'll be honest - this product has a LOT of pros, but some cons, too. It is extremely soft and creamy - velvety, as it claims. And it does feel really hydrating to the skin, which is always good. One thing i love in particular is it leaves a matte finish without feeling semi-ashy or too dry. HOWEVER, the coverage is so great that it is possible to breakout once taking it off. So be selective when using it! Remember that does not apply to everyone; it varies on your activities throughout the day, facial hygeine, how much you sweat and, of course, your skin type. I also want to add that you can find this foundation at Target and Ulta, however Target sells it for about $3 cheaper than at Ulta.
Review: This product works well. I do have some issues with it, however. I'll begin with the pros. It works amazing as a blender when rubbing in circular motions and pressing into the skin. It is also very easy to use as it comes with a stick handle, so it is easy to control where you move it to. Onto the cons, it is a pearly white color, making it stain with your make-up VERY easily. The biggest issue with this is that the blender is very stiff and does not absorb well. So if you're the type of person that applies foundation or concealer by putting it on the blender first and then applying it, I do not reccomend this for you. It won't absorb well at all. Also - a beauty hack that most people use is using their beauty blender when it is wet. However, since it is really stiff, the water will not absorb well either. In short, this product does work fast and great for a quick make up look - but if you're going for a full coverage, more in-depth and concentrated look, consider a (soft) beauty blender (best ones found at Sephora or Ulta).
